No. Grihaseva is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Residents and staff simply open the link in their browser — Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS — and tap "Add to Home Screen". It works exactly like a native app with no app store download, no storage space wasted, and no manual updates required. This is especially important for defence campuses where app store access may be restricted on official devices.
Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. Grihaseva is designed for compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Worker data (photos, ID proof numbers, contact details) is stored only with the worker's consent, used solely for campus security verification, and never sold or shared with third parties. Your RWA owns all data. On cancellation, a full export is provided and data is then permanently deleted.
Blacklisting follows a structured 3-stage governance flow: (1) A Supervisor flags a service provider as a concern, with a reason. (2) The Secretary reviews the flag and makes a formal recommendation to the Chairman. (3) The Chairman approves or rejects the blacklist decision. Every stage is logged with the user's name and a timestamp, creating a complete audit trail. Once blacklisted, all residents see the profile marked with a red banner and are warned not to engage.
Yes. The platform displays your community name throughout the interface. Service categories include House Help (maids, babysitters, cleaners), Ancillary Services (plumbers, electricians, drivers, and 15+ more), and Home Tuition (Physics, Maths, Dance, and 12+ subjects). Supervisors can upload your specific community's OPD schedule, rate list, events notices, and important phone numbers. Enterprise plans include dedicated configuration support and custom onboarding.
You own all your data — it is never held hostage. On cancellation, we provide a full export of all your data in a standard machine-readable format within 30 days. After that, all your data is permanently deleted from our servers within a further 60 days. This is guaranteed in our Terms and Conditions, not just a policy statement.
